Hey Friends and Welcome!

My name is Lisa Pavia-Higel aka The Clarity Geek. I’m an educator, speaker, trainer, performer, and creative. I’ve been teaching communication skills from conflict resolution to public speaking for more than fifteen years.

My job is to help geeks, nerds, and weirdos find their voices and make the world a better place. Why? Because I’ve learned..

• Engineers are incredibly creative and collaborative; they just don’t know it

• Educators have exciting ideas they are afraid to try

• Advocates and non-profit folks can struggle to balance their needs with their big open hearts

• Creatives often don’t know how to articulate their value

You might be in the right place if:

• The idea of conflict turns your stomach; you won’t even send a dish back in a restaurant

• People say, “just be yourself,” and wonder how to do that and stay employed

Wait… I’m not a geek..or a nerd… or a weirdo…Should I leave?

Far be it from me to argue with you, but Most of us are.

Nerds are intellectual devotees who could talk about their interests for hours

Geeks are enthusiastic experts who love bringing ideas into the world

Wierdos are people who see the world just a little differently and find their own way of moving through it

So most of us are probably at least one of these. The goal is to find ways to channel our strengths so we can be confident, productive, and happy as we walk the world alongside our fellow outliers.
